    T'ai Chi Chih is Joy thru Movement! Combining T'ai Chi Chih with the natural beauty of the Arboretum will allow the class participant to feel more connected to earth, to your own essence and to others around you. These outdoor classes at the water's edge are very peaceful. This series teaches all 19 movements. Non-member fee includes Arboretum admission.

    Bring the entire family out for a fun-filled adventure at the Arboretum! Find out why over 5 million people throughout the world hunt for containers, called geocaches, using hand-held GPS devices. Brief classroom presentation followed by a search for two geocaches. Adult presence required for ages 13 and under. PRE REGISTRATION REQUIRED

    A Quilt Walk

    This first annual event will display the creations of the Blue Valley Quilters Guild. Take a leisurely walk through the gardens and admire their artistic creations on display. Then chat with the artists about their process. In addition there will be five bed turning ceremony areas with 10-12 quilts on each bed, ceremonies begin on the hour. Award winning quilters Carla Timberlake, Trisch Price and Ida Houston will be conducting the ceremonies. Included with admission.

    Hey kids! Are you ready for a treasure hunt at the Arboretum? GeoKids is a fun-filled activity consisting of a brief classroom presentation on maps, directions and how to use a compass, geared for young participants. Kids then head out into our learning Arboretum on a compass-based treasure hunt for prizes, with educational stops along the way. Ages 7 to 11 (adult presence required). Arboretum entrance fee included in pricing. PRE REGISTRATION REQUIRED
