    Hey kids! Are you ready for a treasure hunt at the Arboretum? GeoKids is a fun-filled activity consisting of a brief classroom presentation on maps, directions and how to use a compass, geared for young participants. Kids then head out into our learning Arboretum on a compass-based treasure hunt for prizes, with educational stops along the way. Ages 7 to 11 (adult presence required). ADVANCE registration and payment required.

    Come and learn about the importance of watersheds and ways in which water pollution occurs. Instructed by the city of Overland Park's Water Quality Specialist. Price includes lunch at our Garden Cafe. Adult presence is permitted, but not required. Children should be entering grades 6-10.

    Bring the entire family out for a fun-filled adventure at the Arboretum! Find out why over 5 million people throughout the world hunt for containers, called geocaches, using hand-held GPS devices. Brief classroom presentation followed by a search for two geocaches.     Hey kids! Are you ready for a treasure hunt at the Arboretum? GeoKids is a fun-filled activity consisting of a brief classroom presentation on maps, directions and how to use a compass, geared for young participants. Kids then head out into our learning Arboretum on a compass-based treasure hunt for prizes, with educational stops along the way. Ages 7 to 11 (adult presence required). ADVANCE registration and payment required.
